Company Overview 

Crafting Heroes, LLC is a for-profit social impact business registered with the state of Colorado and founded by Deidre LaCour, Cheri Wybrant, and Sean Wybrant in February 2022. Crafting Heroes offers youth development through structured programs, skill-building workshops, service-learning projects, and travel adventures as platforms to equip kids with the skills, knowledge, experiences, and attributes necessary to thrive as empowered individuals who serve their communities and create social impact throughout their lives as healthy and productive members of society. Our programs are intentionally designed to reach young people who have the least access to enrichment opportunities – ensuring that cost is never a barrier to growth, adventure, or leadership development. 

The company hosts workshops for eligible youths to acquire various skills and knowledge, serving as the training grounds for future superheroes. These services will teach and train kids about integrity and character, learning and development, inclusivity and belonging, service and community impact, and exploration and adventure. Crafting Heroes will teach kids to train with purpose, adventure with courage, use their power for good, and stand for justice and kindness. The youths in our program will participate in service-learning projects organized or hosted by Crafting Heroes. The service-learning projects provide opportunities for youths to practice, implement, and refine the skills learned from courses and workshops. Travel adventures organized through Crafting Heroes expand the youth’s capacity and ability for growth through expanding their perspective, learning about the world, and discovering their place in it. 

The various opportunities offered empower the youth to help, create, lead, change, listen, connect, serve, challenge, protect, inspire, and learn. Unlike traditional enrichment programs that are cost-prohibitive for many families, our model ensures that youth from underserved communities can access the same life-changing opportunities without compromising quality or safety. The organization is offering transformative experiences and redistributing access to them.
